Salaried GP 1 full time or 2 part time

Our client, a well-established primary care practice in Chelmsford, is seeking a qualified GP to join their dedicated team. This position offers the flexibility of either full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact in the local community. As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to patients. You will work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, pharmacists, social prescribes, and a care home team. This collaborative environment fosters professional growth and allows for the delivery of comprehensive patient care.

• Conduct surgery consultations, manage emergencies, and provide telephone consultations
• Triage patients, make home visits, and prescribe in accordance with agreed guidelines
• Check and sign repeat prescriptions, deal with queries, and action test results
• Prepare patient medical reports, examinations, and referral letters in a timely manner
• Maintain a personal professional portfolio and commit to continuous learning
• Cover annual leave within the practice for other GPs as needed
• Undertake additional duties as required, depending on workload and staffing levels

Requirements

• Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration
• Excellent clinical skills and a patient-centred approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
