Our client, a well-established hospital in Hertfordshire, is seeking a skilled and compassionate doctor to join their Walk-in Urgent Care Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a GMC-registered doctor to make a positive impact on patients’ lives by providing high-quality care for minor non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
s an Urgent Care Clinic Doctor, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages who present with minor injuries and illnesses. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure the efficient medical management of casualty cases and contribute to the overall objectives of the department.
The hospital’s Walk-in Urgent Care Clinic is dedicated to providing prompt and effective treatment for minor non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. Located conveniently at the front of the hospital, the clinic is open 7 days a week, offering almost instant access to experienced doctors. The Urgent Care Clinic takes pride in delivering the same friendly service and excellent standards of care as the main hospital.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a high standard of clinical skills in treating patients
- Document accurate and methodical accounts of patients’ journeys
- Use departmental electronic records resources appropriately
- Maintain a personal professional profile and adhere to GMC code of practice
- Participate in personal development planning and access necessary training
- Support the Casualty First manager in team building and development
- Deputise for the clinical lead in their absence
Requirements
- GMC Registered Doctor with Licence to practice
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduation experience
- Experience in General Practice and managing minor illnesses
- A&E experience is highly desirable
- Commitment to ongoing training and development
- Evidence of CPD
