Salaried GP - Out of Hours Service

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a part-time salaried GP to join their dedicated team providing NHS111 and Out of Hours GP services across multiple areas Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, the South West of England, Cambridgeshire and West Essex.

As a Salaried GP, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, representing the organisation and the NHS in a manner consistent with the General Medical Council’s Good Medical Practice. You will work closely with operational managers to ensure clinical and quality outcomes are met while managing a diverse caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Make professional, autonomous decisions for individual patients
• Assess healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated problems
• Record clear, contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
• Prescribe in accordance with the prescribing formulary
• Manage case lists to reduce demand on face-to-face services
• Ensure cases are managed or seen in a timely manner
• Collaborate with operational managers for a seamless service
• Follow best practices for safeguarding and clinical governance
• Undertake normal GP duties in General Practice and Urgent Care
