GP Opportunity – HMP Hewell, Redditch-ASAP Start

A healthcare team based at HMP Hewell, just south of Birmingham, is looking for a GP to support their primary care service on a flexible, ongoing basis. This is a well-supported role within a multidisciplinary secure healthcare team, offering genuinely varied clinical work away from the pressures of a traditional surgery.

• Location: HMP Hewell, Redditch
• Rate: £700 per day
• Availability: Flexible availability across 3–5 days
• System: EMIS
• Practice setup: Multidisciplinary secure healthcare team, good on-site clinical support, convenient location with parking on site

Day-to-day work includes routine consultations, chronic disease reviews, and working closely with mental health and substance misuse practitioners. There’s strong potential for this to develop into longer-term, regular sessions for the right person, with a supportive team helping you settle in from day one.
