Enjoy clinically interesting work and a practice that likes to talk medicine? Michael is working with a forward-thinking Cambridge GP surgery that would welcome a Locum GP to strengthen its team.

Key Details:
– Location: Cambridge
– Role: Locum GP
– Rate: £700 per day
– Availability: 3–5 days available, with flexibility
– Working pattern: Full days preferred, with some flexibility on start and finish times
– Patient workload: Up to 15 patients per session, with a daily mid-morning clinical huddle
– Clinical system: EMIS
– Start date: As soon as your compliance is in place

Key Responsibilities:
– Consulting with a diverse patient population, including some complex and multimorbid cases
– Contributing to the daily clinical huddle and duty doctor discussions
– Handling referrals, results and medication reviews linked to your own consultations
– Working alongside pharmacists, paramedics and a social prescriber as part of the wider team

Requirements:
– Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
– Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
– Right to work in the UK
– Appropriate medical indemnity cover
– Relevant GP/primary care experience
– Up-to-date compliance
