Want your working week in Devon to come with a proper balance between clinic and the coast? A well-run Exeter practice is looking for a Locum GP to join them on a regular basis, and Danny would love to talk you through it.

Key Details:
– Location: Exeter
– Role: Locum GP
– Rate: £700 per day
– Availability: 3–5 days available, with the option to discuss ongoing work
– Working pattern: Weekday daytime clinics, with a protected admin slot built into each day
– Patient workload: Mixed face-to-face and telephone appointments, up to 15 patients per session
– Clinical system: SystmOne
– Start date: Flexible, to suit your notice or current bookings

Key Responsibilities:
– Running routine and same-day GP clinics across a mixed-age patient list
– Reviewing and actioning pathology results and incoming correspondence
– Managing acute and repeat prescribing queries
– Occasional home visits shared fairly across the clinical team

About the Opportunity:
The protected admin time is the standout here. You won’t finish your last patient and then face an hour of paperwork, because the practice builds it into your day. The team is small and close-knit, the nursing and pharmacy colleagues pick up a good share of long-term condition reviews, and the practice is easy to reach with parking on site. Requirements:
– Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
– Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
– Right to work in the UK
– Appropriate medical indemnity cover
– Relevant GP/primary care experience
– Up-to-date compliance
