Our client, a well-established GP partnership, is seeking one or two dedicated GPs to join their dynamic team in a practice in Glemsford. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Locum GP to make a positive impact on patient care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Position Overview:

You will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary care services. The surgery, which recently became part of a forward-thinking NHS Foundation Trust, is committed to exploring innovative ways to integrate primary, community, and secondary care through shared IT and governance systems. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of enhanced patient pathways and benefit from access to Trust resources for education, shared appointments, and research.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including consultations, diagnoses, and treatment plans

  • Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of improved patient pathways

  • Participate in educational and research opportunities provided by the Trust

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using SystmOne software

  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in primary care

Requirements:

  • GMC registration and inclusion on the performers list

  • Relevant experience in primary care and a strong commitment to delivering excellent patient care

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues

  • Familiarity with SystmOne software or a willingness to learn

  • A collaborative and proactive approach to working in a multidisciplinary team
