Our client, a well-established surgery in Iverness, is currently seeking a skilled Locum GP to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional to make a positive impact on patient care while working alongside a supportive team of nurses and administrative staff.

Position Overview

As a Locum GP, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within the surgery. You will be responsible for conducting clinical examinations, diagnosing and treating various illnesses, and monitoring patients’ conditions and wellbeing. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical examinations to assess, diagnose, and monitor patient conditions
• Conduct patient consultations both at the surgery and through home visits
• Monitor and manage patients’ conditions and overall wellbeing
• Carry out 2 clinics of 16 patients each
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and ailments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as midwives, pharmacists, health visitors, and psychiatrists, as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Work on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays as part of an ongoing contract
