Just finished GP training and want to start your locum career somewhere that has your back? Lorenzo is recruiting for a Grimsby practice that actively welcomes newly qualified GPs and makes sure nobody feels on their own.

Key Details:
– Location: Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire
– Role: Locum GP
– Rate: £700 per day
– Availability: 3–5 days available, with flexibility
– Working pattern: Weekday sessions, with a gradual build-up if you’d like one
– Patient workload: Up to 15 patients per session, with catch-up slots built in
– Clinical system: EMIS
– Start date: Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:
– Running GP clinics covering a wide variety of acute and chronic presentations
– Managing your own results, prescriptions and patient queries
– Discussing complex or uncertain cases with your named buddy GP
– Working alongside the practice nurses, paramedic and clinical pharmacist

About the Opportunity:
The first year after training can feel like a big step, and this practice understands that. You’ll be paired with an experienced buddy GP who is available throughout your sessions, catch-up slots stop you from falling behind, and the team is friendly and approachable. Experienced GPs are just as welcome, but if you’re new to locum work this is an excellent place to build confidence. Grimsby has good road links via the A180 and M180, and ongoing sessions are available for GPs who enjoy working here.

Requirements:
– Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
– Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
– Right to work in the UK
– Appropriate medical indemnity cover
– Relevant GP/primary care experience
– Up-to-date compliance
