Ready to swap the city for a bit more breathing space? Zak is recruiting a Locum GP for a rural dispensing practice just outside Salisbury, where the medicine is varied and the pace is refreshingly manageable.

Key Details:
– Location: Salisbury (rural practice, a short drive from the city centre)
– Role: Locum GP
– Rate: £700 per day
– Availability: 3–5 days available, with the option to discuss ongoing work
– Working pattern: Weekday sessions, with the occasional home visit to surrounding villages
– Patient workload: Up to 15 patients per session, with protected admin time built into the day
– Clinical system: EMIS
– Start date: Flexible, with sessions available from the next few weeks

Key Responsibilities:
– Consulting with a close-knit rural community across every age group
– Managing acute presentations, minor injuries and long-term condition reviews
– Authorising prescriptions with support from the experienced in-house dispensary team
– Carrying out occasional home visits to housebound and frail patients

Requirements:
– Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
– Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
– Right to work in the UK
– Appropriate medical indemnity cover
– Relevant GP/primary care experience
– Up-to-date compliance
