Locum GP – South London - ASAP Start

Locum GP – South London

Looking for regular work in London that pays weekly and leaves out the home visits? Charlie is recruiting a Locum GP for a South London practice that needs six sessions a week, starting as soon as possible.

Key Details:
– Location: South London
– Role: Locum GP
– Rate: £700 per day
– Availability: 3 days per week (6 sessions), with flexibility
– Payment: Paid weekly
– Home visits: None – all work is surgery-based
– Clinical system: EMIS
– Start date: ASAP start, with flexibility to suit your notice period

Key Responsibilities:
– Running routine and same-day surgery sessions
– Managing a varied caseload typical of an inner-city London practice
– Reviewing results, letters and prescription requests linked to your own patients
– Working alongside the practice’s clinical and administrative team

Why This Role Works:
With no home visits on the list, your day stays in the surgery and finishes when your sessions do, with no driving across London between clinics. Weekly payment means you’re never waiting long to be paid, which makes this a dependable, regular commitment for GPs who want steady income alongside the freedom of locum work. Six sessions a week gives the practice the continuity it’s looking for while still leaving you plenty of time for other commitments, and the start date can be arranged around you. South London’s transport links also make the commute straightforward from across the capital and the surrounding counties.

Requirements:
– Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
– Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
– Right to work in the UK
– Appropriate medical indemnity cover
– Relevant GP/primary care experience
– Up-to-date compliance
