OOH GP - Edinburgh

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking dedicated and experienced GPs to join their Out of Hours GP in Edinburgh, covering 4-6 sessions a week. This organisation is committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and belonging while delivering high-quality care to patients across various settings. As an OOH GP, you will play a crucial role in providing timely and exceptional clinical care to patients during base visits and home visits. You will work alongside a skilled team of healthcare professionals to manage acute and chronic presentations across adult and paediatric patients, ensuring they receive personalised, evidence-informed medical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and high-quality clinical care and assessments during base visits and home visits
• Support telephone triage in the Clinical Assessment Service, prioritising patients requiring face-to-face care
• Manage acute and chronic presentations across adult and paediatric patients within the OOH setting
• Deliver personalised, evidence-informed medical care to all patients in contact with OOH services
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and support

Requirements

• Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
• Inclusion on the Performers List
