On Call Doctor - Bath

As the On Call Doctor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary care services to patients. You’ll manage a diverse caseload, handling both routine and urgent queries, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Our client, a well-established primary care practice in Bath, is seeking a skilled On Call Doctor to join their supportive and collaborative team. Responsibilities

• Field and manage urgent queries from health professionals, staff and patients
• Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for pre-booked and urgent appointments
• Manage extension to fit note requests received via Patient Knows Best (PKB)
• Carry out routine and triaged home visits, sharing workload with other GPs
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and maintain clear communication with the team
• Be readily contactable during visits and ensure mobile phone is charged
• 9 month contract

Requirements

• GMC Registration and Performers List
• Experience working in primary care and remote consultation
• Skilled in multidisciplinary collaboration and PCN engagement
• Ability to participate in the on call GP rota
