Like the pace of urgent care but prefer to stay firmly within primary care? George is recruiting GPs for out-of-hours GP streaming shifts at an urgent treatment centre in Leeds.

Key Details:
– Location: Leeds
– Role: OOH GP – Urgent Treatment Centre
– Rate: £90 per hour
– Availability: Flexible availability across 3–5 days, including evenings and weekends
– Working pattern: Weekday evening shifts plus weekend and bank holiday cover
– Patient workload: Face-to-face assessments of patients streamed to primary care at the front door, with no home visits
– Clinical system: SystmOne
– Start date: As soon as your compliance is in place

Key Responsibilities:
– Assessing and treating walk-in and NHS 111-booked patients with primary care presentations
– Managing minor illness and a range of minor injuries alongside emergency nurse practitioners
– Redirecting patients to the emergency department or specialty teams where needed
– Completing clear handover notes for each patient’s registered practice

Requirements:
– Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
– Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
– Right to work in the UK
– Appropriate medical indemnity cover
– Relevant GP/primary care experience
– Up-to-date compliance
