For GPs who’d rather earn well outside the standard working week, this is a chance to join Nottingham’s Out-of-Hours service on a genuinely flexible basis.

 

Key Details:

– Location: Nottingham

– Rate: £90 per hour

– Availability: 3–5 shifts available, with the option to discuss ongoing work

– Working pattern: Evening and weekend Out-of-Hours shifts

– Patient workload: Mix of telephone triage, base consultations and home visits

– Clinical system: EMIS

– Start date: Start as soon as you’re ready

 

About the Opportunity:

The team runs a proper handover process between shifts, so you’re never picking up a case cold, and there’s always a senior colleague reachable if a decision needs a second opinion. It’s a good fit if you want your daytime free while still building a solid, well-paid diary.

 

Requirements:

– Full GMC registration with a licence to practise

– Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List

– Right to work in the UK

– Appropriate medical indemnity cover

– Relevant GP/primary care experience

– Up-to-date compliance
