Salaried GP - Bryntirion

This well-established primary care surgery in Bryntirion is seeking a skilled Salaried GP to join their close-knit team. As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in managing a diverse caseload and addressing a wide range of health needs within the primary care setting. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive clinical examinations to assess, diagnose, and monitor patient conditions
• Conduct patient consultations both at the surgery and through home visits
• Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and ailments
• Carry out minor surgical procedures when required
• Monitor and manage patients’ conditions and overall well-being
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including midwives, pharmacists, health visitors, and psychiatrists
• Actively participate in practice management and administration duties
• Review and sign repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines

Requirements

• Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC)
• Inclusion on the Welsh Performers List
• Proven experience working in a primary care setting
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge across a wide range of medical conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective patient care and teamwork
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
