Key responsibilities:

• Provide health promotion and preventive care, including immunizations, screenings, and lifestyle advice to support patient well-being.
• Work closely with nurses, practice managers, administrative staff, and allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Participate in clinical audits, reviews, and meetings to ensure the highest standards of care and continuous improvement in clinical practice.
• Manage a range of acute presentations, providing treatment, referrals, and follow-up care as necessary.
• Build strong relationships with patients, offering clear communication, empathetic care, and advice tailored to individual needs.
• Safely prescribe medications as required, and make timely and appropriate referrals to specialists and secondary care when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
