Our client, a well-established GP practice in Crawley, is seeking a skilled Salaried GP to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated GP to make a positive impact on patient care while advancing their career in a thriving practice environment.

Position Overview

As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to the practice’s patients. You will work collaboratively with the forward-thinking partners and the diverse clinical team, which includes an ANP, Physician Associates, Clinical Pharmacist, Paramedic Home Visiting Service, Practice Nursing Team, Mental Health Nurse & Social Prescriber. This position offers the opportunity to progress your career and develop clinical and leadership interests within a supportive and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, and prescription management
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems
  • Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
  • Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
  • Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
  • Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever clinically appropriate
  • Undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working in primary care

Requirements

  • Qualified GP with MRCGP (or equivalent)
  • Full GMC Registration, without restriction
  • Medical Performers List registration
  • Eligibility to practice independently in the UK
  • Experience working in a primary care environment
  • Experience in the management of clinical risk
  • Experience contributing to safeguarding practice/procedure
  • Willingness to contribute to QOF & clinical audit
