Our client, a well-established GP practice in Crawley, is seeking a skilled Salaried GP to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated GP to make a positive impact on patient care while advancing their career in a thriving practice environment.
Position Overview
As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality primary care services to the practice’s patients. You will work collaboratively with the forward-thinking partners and the diverse clinical team, which includes an ANP, Physician Associates, Clinical Pharmacist, Paramedic Home Visiting Service, Practice Nursing Team, Mental Health Nurse & Social Prescriber. This position offers the opportunity to progress your career and develop clinical and leadership interests within a supportive and inclusive practice.
Responsibilities
- Undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, and prescription management
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
- Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
- Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
- Prescribe in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever clinically appropriate
- Undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working in primary care
Requirements
- Qualified GP with MRCGP (or equivalent)
- Full GMC Registration, without restriction
- Medical Performers List registration
- Eligibility to practice independently in the UK
- Experience working in a primary care environment
- Experience in the management of clinical risk
- Experience contributing to safeguarding practice/procedure
- Willingness to contribute to QOF & clinical audit
