Salaried GP - Friendly Greenwich Practice

Our client, a well-established GP practice in Greenwich, is seeking a skilled Salaried GP to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated GP to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population while working alongside experienced colleagues. As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive primary care services to patients at this 2 partner practice. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, which includes practice nurses, a clinical pharmacist, physiotherapist, social prescriber, mental health nurse, and podiatrist, to ensure the highest standard of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits
• Make autonomous decisions regarding patient care and treatment
• Assess the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
• Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
• Develop personalised care plans in consultation with patients
• 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave pro rata
• Opportunity for 4-6 sessions per week in Greenwich
• Provide counselling and health education to patients
• Manage patient caseload, including admissions, discharges, and referrals
• Maintain clear and accurate patient records using EMIS Web and Docman
• Collect data for audit purposes and comply with QOF requirements
• Deliver enhanced services and prescribe in accordance with practice guidelines

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full registration with the GMC
• Certification of Completion of Training
• Inclusion on the Performers List
• Evidence of commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
• MRCGP (desirable)
