Our client, a high-performing GP practice in Hawick, is seeking a dedicated GP to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified GP to work in a supportive environment that values continuity of patient care, teamwork, and peer support.

Position Overview

As a GP Partner or Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients. You will work alongside a highly experienced clinical support team, contributing to the practice’s mission of providing exceptional care and fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake a variety of standard GP duties, including face-to-face consultations, home visits, telephone consultations, prescriptions, laboratory reports, and paperwork

  • Ensure good cover for patients throughout the week, with 5-6 sessions per week and negotiable working days

  • Contribute to the practice’s strong ethos of continuity of patient care, teamwork, and peer support

  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities provided by the practice

Requirements

  • Full GMC registration

  • National Performers List registration

  • Qualified GP accredited as a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and included in the General Practitioner Register

  • Current experience working in a GP practice
