Salaried GP - Friendly Lancashire Practice

Our client, a well-established GP practice in Lancashire, is seeking a skilled Salaried GP to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced GP to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of a tight-knit community. As a Salaried GP, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality primary care services. You will work closely with the existing team of 2 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, 2 HCAs, and admin support staff to deliver comprehensive care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits
• Review and sign prescriptions, manage paperwork, and interpret lab results
• Make timely referrals and respond to reports and queries
• Contribute to effective clinical administration, audit, and management
• Adhere to clinical and prescribing procedures and protocols
• Support the development of the practice business and QOF targets

Serving an area of high deprivation, the practice takes pride in providing care to multiple generations of families, many of whom were born into the practice. The team achieved a ‘Good’ rating in their last CQC inspection and actively participates in the Greater Middlesbrough Primary Care Network. Requirements

• MRCGP qualification
• Registered on the NHS Performer’s List
• Hold unrestricted GMC registration
