GP - Peterborough

Our client, a progressive GP practice in Peterborough, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed GP to join their expanding clinical team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled GP to take on a salaried position with the potential for partnership in the future. As a GP within the practice, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care to the practice population. You will work autonomously, providing medical services and clinical care in line with the GMS contract. The position offers 4-6 sessions per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations via telephone, video, or face-to-face
• Take comprehensive patient histories and perform examinations
• Arrange and interpret diagnostic tests and investigations
• Diagnose conditions and prescribe appropriate treatments or medications
• Make referrals to specialists or provide advice when necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care

Requirements

• GMC registration and inclusion on the Performers List
• Completion of GP specialty training and MRCGP qualification
• Excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to providing patient-centred care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with clinical IT systems
